Update for Charlie

A joyous July to you!

I am, of course, writing to you from a super snuggly spot in the summer sunshine. Even in the heat of the Jersey summer, I am chilling out in the solarium instead of in the air conditioning, which shocked my scribe. She took this picture of me peeking out from under a bed of pink fluffiness, and I reassured her that I was super comfy on the cool floor of the solarium.

I’m confident that someone who loves all us kitties knitted these beautiful blankets that I’m napping beneath, and that fabulous someone donated them so we could have warm, soft reminders of how much they care. Isn’t that wonderful? So much to be thankful for in the midst of all that’s going on in the world these days. I am a firm believer in the simple life, and a good thing too, because I am lucky enough to live it here at Tabby’s Place.

I have these gorgeous longer summer nights to ponder the mysteries of this world while gazing out at the backyard, alive with natural wonders. I get to see good friends find their forever homes, like Mr. Grey Fluffy Pants. And I’m always making new friends like my new roomie Dwayne, who’s a super chill and quirky dude from the grey cat clan like Mr. GFP and myself. I have the best care I could ever ask for and all the love I can soak up from every human visitor.

Luckily there’s an endless amount of visitors and love, because I have a pretty serious competitor in my roomie, Adelaide. She’s a human magnet like me, and I know she will, quick as a wink, pounce her super tiny self on the first lap she can find, before I can even manage to get myself up on all four paws. In fact, even if I can by some miracle reach a lap first, if she comes my way, I am always my mellow gentlemanly self and give up the lap for her to take over. But it’s all good, because there’s always more love and another lap for me as well. That’s the beauty.

I hope you find your own beauty this month, my lovely sponsors! You are adored and appreciated more than you know!

Peace, love, and purrs…

Charlie
