Update for Charlie

Hello, my beloved sponsors!

We’ve found ourselves in the traditional month of love, and I must say I am feeling extremely loved and lucky, as always, here at Tabby’s Place.

The temperatures here in good ol’ Ringoes have risen to manageable winter numbers and we’ve had mostly free access to our cozy outdoor solarium. Lately, though, I’m not as much of a fan of being outside as I used to be. I think it’s just typical aging, as any of you who are not youngsters anymore can understand. That freezing cold air just seeps into my bones sometimes and I’d rather stay warm and snuggled up on a fuzzy bed inside.

I am continuing to stun everyone with my stellar health. It’s a special feat for an elderly, diabetic, FIV+ cat to have no medical news to report! I am no stranger to this information, of course, since all the humans here keep telling me how special I am, and how much I light up their worlds. I soak up each word of praise and wonderment that comes my way, along with all the affection and adoration I receive on a regular basis.

One recent example of that affection and adoration was the super snuggly love session I had with my scribe while she was taking pictures of me to include with this month’s update. She was on the floor with me and I couldn’t get close enough to her. She captured the adoring look I had on my face as I gazed up at her with my stunning grey handsomeness. Only having one eye does not stop me from stealing anyone’s heart who looks directly at my face. I’m magical that way! The other picture is of my eager enjoyment of her pets along my cheeks and neck. Those are two of my favorite spots for human canoodling and I will press my head into your hand with the vigor of a thousand kitties!

I hope you watched the Kitten Bowl along with (or perhaps instead of) the Super Bowl this year. I hear it was ridiculously cute and fun as always, and all the kitty athletes got adopted into “furever” homes. Perhaps we’ll have a Kitten Bowl viewing party here next year to raise money for Tabby’s Place. I’ll put that in the suggestion box and offer to help organize it.

Enjoy your Valentine’s celebration of love in whatever way your heart desires. As always, I thank you from the bottom of my loving heart for your generous support as my sponsors!

Peace, love, and purrs,

Charlie
