Update for Charlie

Holiday greetings, my beautiful sponsors!

I hope you are finding lots of joy in December. Please know that I am sending you a big, furry grey hug across the miles!

We’ve been having unseasonably warm temperatures here in NJ this winter, and I’ve taken full advantage by spending most of my time outside in the solarium. Although, if I do say so myself, I am a professional at sleeping wherever my fuzzy paws happen to land at any given moment.

I realized the other day that I was super thirsty, but all that water drinking just exhausted me. So I had to suddenly power nap, right on the spot, still leaning on and curled around my water bowl, as you’ll see at right.

To me, if you’re lucky enough to be as well cared for as I am (thanks to you, of course), then why not take any and all opportunities to snooze happily when the urge strikes? I’m just that laid-back, kittens. And I hope, amidst all the hustle and bustle of this time of year, that you can try to channel some of my super-laid-back-ness and allow yourself to crash out into a power nap whenever the urge strikes you. Rest when you need to…you deserve it! And make sure you dream of a certain handsome, grey kitty snuggling you lazily. Why run around when you can simply chill?

Thank you for all you do for me!

Peace, love, and purrs,

Charlie

PS: Not to worry; the Tabby’s Place medical team knows that hanging over the water bowl can be a sign of high blood glucose or kidney problems. They regularly monitor my values, and all’s well — I just like to snooze on the spot as needed.
