Update for Carrot

Dear Carrot friends,

Carrot has already hung his stocking (he’s really hoping for new toys, and a few yummy treats), and he also put up his menorah (Carrot believes in celebrating everything he can), so he’s all ready for the holidays. I think all Carrot really needs lately is Valencia; the two of them are still hanging out together most of the time. When they are out in the solarium they are usually snuggled close to each other, mostly because they love each other, but also to keep warm. Valencia must have decided it was too cold for her one day, because she went inside to the suite. A few minutes later Carrot followed her, and hung out with her on the ramp inside suite B.

Cypress, a good friend to both Carrot and Valencia, was recently adopted. I’m sure they’ll miss her, but it’s wonderful to see our shy girl, Cypress, find a forever home of her own. Cypress has been at Tabby’s Place since 2009!

Tough boy Simba
moved back into suite B. He has been gone for a month as he was starting a new behavior medication, and we wanted to keep him isolated until the medicine reached its full potential. We’re hoping that Simba will now be a calmer boy, allowing Carrot (and all the other suite B residents), to have the peaceful room they have been enjoying in Simba’s absence. In medical news, we found a small scab on Carrot’s abdomen this month. Our vet team is not particularly concerned, and will simply monitor it for now.

Carrot, all the cats, staff and volunteers wish each of you a happy and safe holiday season, and a wonderful 2018! Because of your support Carrot is happy, safe, and loved. He sends thanks and headbumps to you all.
