The leaves are changing color, there is a chill in the air, but Carrot and his solarium friends refuse to give up being outdoors. There is a big divide between the cats in B – there are the Suite B cats, and the Solarium B cats. In the other suites and solariums, cats come and go from inside to outside, depending on their mood, or on how warm it is that day. They utilize all of the areas available to them, and seem to enjoy both inside and outside.
This is not the case in B. It’s like two separate rooms, as if there is no tunnel to pass freely back and forth. The “suite” cats stay inside, and the “solarium” cats stay outside. Carrot loves his solarium friends, and is obviously very comfortable around them. On the rare occasion one of the suite cats ventures outside (and this is usually Wilbur) all the solarium cats look at him like he is an alien from another planet. You can actually see them glaring at the intruder, as if they are wondering where this cat could possibly have appeared from.
As it gets closer to winter Carrot and friends are going to have to venture inside, and hopefully live peacefully with those suite aliens, but for now they are not ready to give up their outside life.
One of my trips to solarium B lately was very heartwarming and adorable. Carrot and his BFF Spumoni were hugging and grooming each other for a good 15 minutes. It always makes me happy to see the love between these two, and they often have these snuggle sessions. I took a few pictures of them together for you all to see.
That’s all the Carrot news for now. As always thank you so much for your support of Carrot. Because of you Carrot is safe, happy, and has friends who love him very much.
