Our handsome fellow continues to be a cat’s cat, and loves being the focus of love and protection from his two BFFs, Wolfie and Newman . Wolfie covers Buddy’s flank at the top of the outdoor ramp. Now that Wolfie is feeling better and his post-surgical cone collar is gone, Wolfie is much more relaxed. If you are willing to climb the ladder to get to these two love muffins, you can pet them both to your heart’s content.
Buddy’s behavior patterns are delightfully predictable. He descends from the throne he shares with Wolfie, with a big, long stretch down the outdoor ramp to the floor. He makes a beeline for Newman, who is only too happy to oblige with “hairdressing” (head licks).
Buddy will follow Newman around for a bit, ’til he’s had his share of grooming and fussing. He’ll do a lap or two around the perimeter of the solarium, then a long stretch on his way back up to his throne.
The nicest part about Buddy’s routine is that he has room for his human BFFs now. He is happy to accept our worship, too. No more cowering in the corner on top of the crates!
Buddy’s health is very good, his weight is very good, and he is a never ending source of delight for those who love our emerald-eyed man. Thank you for helping to give him such a wonderful life at Tabby’s Place.
