Update for Bellis

Greetings to Bellis’ sponsors,

On my last visit to Tabby’s Place, I sat and observed Bellis for a bit before I approached her to say hello. There’s something so beautiful about watching Bellis absorb everything around her. She is like any other cat, just hanging around keeping tabs on everyone in the room. Of course, we know Bellis isn’t just any other cat. She can steal your heart faster than some and can prove anyone with any doubts about her abilities wrong in minutes.

After observing our girl for a little while, I approached her slowly, letting her know I was there and offering my hand for a sniff before moving in for the love. Bellis never disappoints with whole hearted affection, head butting, purring and back-arching stretching. Matching my happy tone is some happy news for Bellis this month.

Bellis has enjoyed a much mellower month, as bruiser Milo moved to Suite C and Chance has become more at ease with his world. The only medical news for our little love this month was one instance of being noted circling to the left. Fortunately, our vet reassured us after a physical exam that all is well with Bellis.

However, there is news of another, much larger kind. The family-of-her-very-own kind. We have had false alarms before, so we’re trying not to get too excited…but yet another “someone” has expressed interest in adopting Bellis. Whenever Bellis’ big day comes, it will break all of our hearts (in the best possible way), so perhaps it’s a good thing that we’re forever preparing ourselves for her adoption.

Thinking about not seeing Bellis anymore does strike a fear in my very squishy heart. To console myself, I promise that I will spend more time visiting our precious beauty, absorbing everything I can from her, and watching the beautiful way she absorbs everything around her.

Thank you, kind sponsors, for giving Bellis the chance to have a family of her very own, and for giving the rest of us the chance to enjoy Bellis.
