Update for Bellis

Greetings to Bellis’ sponsors,

When I last visited Bellis, she was contently napping, curled up in a chair. Actually, I think it’s fair to officially call that chair, her chair. So sweet Bellis napped and I chatted, and she did eventually get up and greet for a while. But, Bellis really just wanted to nap on her chair.

We all have a place like that in our home, a spot where we most often settle in to relax. We prepare to sit in our spot, up sometimes with a few trips in order to put down a cold drink, something to read, or a remote control, a small snack (or full meal!) and our cell phone. So we get ourselves all set-up, and we sit down and do exactly what Bellis was doing, relax. So I let her relax and I sat and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Well, the relative quiet, I should say. A cat fight did erupt here and there. Bellis wasn’t at all fazed. While she was obviously listening, indicated by her ears following the sounds around, she just sat and happily napped. Our friend Bellis is really quite content.

For the first time in recent memory, Bellis actually does have medical news this month. But fear not; it’s quite benign. Bellis had a dental. As expected, there were no problems. Dr. C found that Bellis had already lost some little incisors, those teensy little cat-teeth that can fall out on their own. Bellis’ dental was so uneventful that she hasn’t even needed pain medication in the aftermath.

Thank you kind sponsors for making this all possible.
