I’m delighted to be filling in this month for your regular correspondent, Sue, to bring you your regular dose of Adam news.
On the health front Adam lost a small bit of weight early in the month and then stabilized. Adam’s suite was switched to a hydrolyzed protein diet. But, since Adam can still benefit from his high-fiber food, we crate him with it twice each day to ensure he is getting what he needs to keep his insides working great. He did require one enema in August, but for the most part our wild child is doing well.
The biggest and most exciting news in Adam’s suite this month is the new world of solarium structures donated by a generous volunteer for each of the solaria! This ‘city’ of multi-tiered cat climbing platforms has made the solarium an even more special spot to hang out. It is perfect for intense bird watching, contented snoozing, or hopping from level to chair to next level. Adam has not spent a ton of time in the solarium lately but I am thinking I will take him out there specifically to check it out. When he sees the new structures I am sure he will enjoy them immensely.
Hank, who was placed in Suite A because of his strong personality, has been settling in nicely and not causing any trouble. He is frequently out in the solarium with Pepita and Rose and so far has been behaving himself quite nicely. He and Adam have not had any confrontations as far as we know!
Autumn will soon be here—we are experiencing the cooler temperatures and leaves blowing about, with a little tinge in the color of the trees. I am going to make it a point to get Adam out in the solarium on my next visit, to remind him how much he loves it, to have him experience the new climbing structures and to enjoy the approaching fall season.
Amazed. Inspired. Grateful. That’s how your generosity makes us feel at Tabby’s Place. Your consistent and wonderful sponsorship of Adam is an amazing gift. Thank you for your love of our fur ball and the generous support that enables us to keep him healthy and provide him with a stimulating environment. I’ve enjoyed bringing you Adam’s news this month!
