Adam is enjoying time in “his” solarium, soaking up the warm rays. Adam spends a lot of time out on the “sun porch” with Rose, pacing around the floor and stalking bugs. He seems to take great pleasure in observing what the out of doors can bring to his life.
When he isn’t walking around and around the solarium, Adam loves being in charge of Suite A. He “welcomes” newcomers to his suite with a bit of an intimidating stare. A new, very nervous boy named Elmer just moved in and Adam let him know that he was boss of the room. Luckily Elmer is still so unsure of life at Tabby’s Place that I don’t think he paid any attention to Adam’s unwanted advances.
Adam still is a mystery to us in medical news. What does it mean for Adam’s gait to be “weird?” We’re not quite sure, but someone reported just that observation to our vet team. Dr. C couldn’t find anything out of the ordinary-for-Adam, however, so we’ll simply continue to monitor his strut. (He’s been compared to everything from John Wayne to a loose-suspension truck.) In more potentially-serious news, Adam’s gastrointestinal issues have continued — specifically, vomiting. We’ve scheduled an appointment for him to see an internal medicine specialist.
Next week should bring some fun for Adam as summer camp starts again. Last year Adam really enjoyed playing with the kids.
Have a wonderful mid-summer! Adam loves you to pieces and hopes your world is as delightful as a whole sky full of fireworks!
