It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood, as Mr. Rogers used to say. The solarium is especially dazzling with the mild and crispy Autumn weather that we are experiencing.
I am very well and had a nice health surprise this month. FIV+ cats are prone to dental disease, but as it turns out, my gums and teeth are so healthy that I don’t have to have any dental work this year. I was so pleased to hear the news. My friend Newman had dental work performed and is healing nicely. They also repeated bloodwork for Newman, and everything looks great!
In other big news, we are preparing to welcome two new residents to Suite FIV, TeePee and Sonny. They are both older orange gentlemen. I wonder whether we will become friends. I will write about them next month, once I get to know them. I plan to show them around our wonderful solarium. I know that, just like me, they will love watching the birds, trees and insects.
That’s one great thing about my life at Tabby’s Place: I get the chance to meet many interesting and friendly cats — and people, too! Of course, I have my favorite feline friends, including my best friend Hocus, but I enjoy my time with all my roommates. Here’s a picture of me and Buddy, as we prepare to visit the solarium together.
I feel so lucky to be in a place where people understand my special needs, and would do anything to make sure that I am well and happy. You make it all possible, and for that, I am so grateful.
As these days and nights become chillier, I am growing a thicker coat. I hope that you keep warm too.
Much love,
xoxoxox,
Mona
