This month, our baby boy is enjoying his “15 minutes of fame” as the face of the 2010 Tabby’s Place Virtual Gift Catalog.
On the medical front, some of our staff have been concerned that Bialy may have been a bit more wobbly recently. Our vet notes that Bialy’s symptoms will most likely wax and wane from day to day. We will be monitoring his symptoms, and if they should become more frequent, we will consider medication or surgery.
On a happy note, a large proportion of Bellis‘ sponsors chose to transfer their support to Bialy when Bellis was adopted the day before Thanksgiving.
This month, Bialy’s been learning that not everyone likes to play quite as wildly as his “Uncle” Tashi. When several smaller kittens moved into the Community Room, Bialy attempted to wrestle and fight with them as boisterously as he does with Tashi.
Suffice to say that little Sesame, Acorn and Sir Prize were not interested, and they let Bialy know by their shrieks.
There’s a new kitten, a small all-black female named Morticia, in Bialy’s room now. Although she too isn’t interested in wild Tashi-style play, Bialy seems to have won her over for nap time. They were spotted napping together in spoon fashion on one of the chairs.
Bialy is still full of energy and loves to play with his mouse, as you’ll see in this month’s video. He will also climb up the fabric cubby walls to get to what interests him. There’s no holding our boy back when he wants to get somewhere.
