Update for Regina

You can never go wrong in a little black dress!

Dear Team Regina,

Happy, Happy New Year! As Tabby’s Place waves a fond goodbye to a very successful 2024 growing our mission of helping the neediest of cats, we would be remiss if we didn’t thank you for your ongoing support. Each month, it is my great pleasure to reach out and share with you the details of Regina’s happy life here at Tabby’s Place. Without your kindness and generosity to our darling little ingenue, her life would not be nearly as sweet or secure. Your continuing support of Regina also frees up funds to help other cats in desperate situations.

Simply said, we could not do our work without you. We certainly hope you will join us in making Tabby’s Place a beacon of light and hope for all our feline friends in 2025!

New Year’s Eve saw our dear Regina following fashion icon Coco Chanel’s advice: You can never go wrong in a tasteful and elegant little black dress. She was the belle of the Suite G ball in her simple, yet stunning haltered gown. Frankly, when you are as lively and vivacious as the beautiful Regina, you don’t need a lot of bells and whistles, gems, or gewgaws to make a fashion statement and take center stage. Oram and Sweetie were both properly “wowed” and lovingly basked in the reflected glow of our gorgeous gal. It was Regina’s time to shine, and she didn’t waste a moment. And although we know for sure that cats don’t drink champagne, the water in the Suite G bowls and fountains did seem a little more sparkling than usual. It was quite the A-list affair, so Rihanna, eat your heart out!

In the days since the festivities, Regina has been wriggling out of her scoot skirts, and it appears she has outgrown several of them. The sores she developed scooting around au naturel are healing nicely, but they can quickly return if she moves around without her protective clothing. New orders have been placed for some outfits in a slightly larger size and, clothes horse that she is, Regina has been flipping the pages of her kitty couture magazines for inspiration. After all, it’s not every fashion-forward feline who has an atelier of custom skoot skirt makers at her beck and call.

Oram: “See Tina’s p.s., please!”

Never one to miss an opportunity for personal growth and expanding her horizons, Regina has taken the New Year in stride. Her list of personal resolutions includes continuing to be active, staying in shape, and becoming even more spectacular than ever before. In true regal style, she has issued a declaration asking the rest of us to join her on this self-improvement mission.  Will you join her on her journey to be the best that we can be?

What are your new year’s resolutions?

Despite being uncomfortable when handled for bladder and bowel expression, diapering, and dressing, Regina is determined to forge ahead to meet her goals this year. Oram and Sweetie are also hard at work on their personal 2025 mission statements, following in the pawprints of their little lady leader.  Like her Royal Majesty, they would love to hear from you about the goals you’ve set and the obstacles you’ve overcome. They find it marvelously motivating and, after all, you are an integral part of Team Regina! The entire tag team would be thrilled to hear from you, and we can build on our successes together!

Wishing you and your dear ones a fabulous year ahead. We’ll be waiting breathlessly to hear from you!

Your correspondent,
Tina

(P.S.: Superb news here: Oram has been adopted into a forever home that has several other FeLV+ kitties and is living the dream! We will all miss him, but what great news to start the new year!)
