All black with a striking white tail dip, Oram is dressed to impress!
One of Oram’s favorite things to do is play! Watch him zoom across the room in hot pursuit of a toy mouse or batting intensely at a wand toy! Oram is young and active and would appreciate a home where he has plenty of opportunities for attention and enrichment!
Oram came to us from another shelter. We don’t know much about his younger years, but he clearly gets along with cats and humans. Although Oram is new to us, he previously lived with other cats at the previous shelter and get along with his feline friends very well. Oram occasionally has his feisty moments with people but overall is a sweet boy.
Oram is one of our Feline Leukemia (FeLV) positive cats. FeLV is a virus that deeply affects the immune system of a cat and can make them vulnerable to different health complications. Cats with FeLV often have shortened lifespans, but exactly how the virus impacts a cat varies greatly. Due to his status, Oram can only be a solo cat or live with other FeLV cats, as the virus is spread through cat to cat contact. Feline Leukemia may seem like a scary disease, but with the right care, Oram and his fellow Felvies can live happy, healthy lives. If there is room in your heart and home for a Special Needs cat, schedule an appointment to meet our Oram!
Oram is young and healthy other than being FeLV+ positive. All he’s missing is the right home. Could that be with you? Fill out an adoption application today!
