Update for Princess Bubblegum

Greetings Princess Bubblegum Sponsors!

Hope you are all doing well. The weather here in New Jersey has been hot but I’ll take it over the snow. We have mostly had our air conditioning on, but right now we have the windows open, which Princess Bubblegum likes.

Princess Bubblegum is doing awesome! She’s been playful and friendly. I have not weighed her since last month, but she looks good! As you can see in the photo, she is looking a bit round, but in a dignified, princess-type way. She’s magnificent, the way a princess should be.

The only big news on her is that she’s not a fan of the pate type of kidney prescription food. She used to eat it just fine, but has now decided she doesn’t like it. She likes the morsels in gravy kidney food. We will be ordering more of that! She still eats her prescription dry food. Hopefully she will continue to want to eat her prescription food.

At Tabby’s Place, we get many donations of different brands of prescription kidney food. It is lower in protein, so many cats turn their nose up at it. Some cats eat it just fine (for example, Sherbet and Amos in Jon’s office), but others find its lack of protein disturbing. As long as Princess Bubblegum continues to eat the prescription food, we will serve it on a silver platter (or bowl) to her.

The other day, my older son saw Princess Bubblegum zip across the room to attack his shoes! Apparently, shoe laces are her new favorite toy. She’s a funny, playful girl.

We are all incredibly happy that she is doing so well. My kids talk about how great she looks now. They talk about how skinny she was, and now she’s…well, let’s say rotund. It’s good to be the princess.

Thank you for continuing to sponsor our sweet, mischievous girl. We love her so much and could not do this without your help. Thank you.
