First, the disappointing news: we haven’t heard a peep from the person who’d considered adopting Newman last month. This isn’t unusual, as adopters often reconsider, and we’d certainly prefer that someone carefully think it through before adopting a Special Needs kitty. Fortunately, Newman is completely unfazed by the news. He’s too busy delighting in the great news: Suite FIV is again free-feeding.
Thanks to neighbor Pyewacket‘s transition to non-prescription food, scheduled meals are over, and all-day dry food has returned to the suite that loves it most.
There are some new faces in Suite FIV this month. Knox (pictured below) is a 3-legged male who has just joined us. He is a very handsome kitty, and appears a bit timid at the moment. He does love listening, though, as I was able to get him to smile just by conversing with him. A little time and love is all he needs — and he will surely get that and much more.
Newman seems to be extremely content with everything being back to normal in terms of food. He’s even figured out how to fit on the cat tree to get in some serious snoozing. If you remember, last month he was spilling out in all his Newman-bigness glory.
I’ve discovered that Newman really enjoys fishing, as he was easily lured off the cat tree to try out a toy fishing pole with a mouse on the end of it. Bo and I were having a good time fishing when Newman put on his waders and joined us.
He decided to catch up on his beauty sleep later!
Thank you for your love and support for Newman. He is so lucky to have you in his life, and all of us at Tabby’s are enormously grateful to you.
Until next month,
