September is super sweetness month in Suite FIV. The warmer weather is definitely agreeing with Newman and all his pals. Okay, almost all his pals. Lester seems to have a desire to be the one and only when it comes to visitors. But life just doesn’t work that way. Poor Lester, and poor Newman when he gets the wrath of Lester.
On the other hand, two of Newman’s ‘sweet mates’ (pun intended), Hocus and Mona, like to snuggle together, as you can see in the photo below. They’re pictured in a favorite igloo in their solarium.
When they’re in the solarium, these two shy kitties become a little more confident and open to receiving affection. We’re grateful for these precious moments that the sunshine stokes in them.
Newman seems to have adjusted just fine to “the great diet change of July 2014.” As you’ll recall, the game plan was to fix Lester’s, er, output. Lester has now earned the most glowing of accolades at Tabby’s Place: perfect stool. We’re delighted, of course — now, if only the residents of suite FIV were quite as happy about it.
Switching from an all-day buffet to scheduled meals is one huge adjustment for these boys and girls. We’ve never heard Newman meow quite so much as he has recently. Nowadays, it’s not unusual to hear Newman’s adorably chirpy voice — and, fortunately, he’s easily distracted from the injustice of absent food by pets and cuddles. Newman’s health is fabulously stable.
Enjoy these remaining fabulous days of summer, as Newman surely will. Newman and all of us at Tabby’s Place thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued and generous love and support.
