Hope that you are enjoying the beautiful mid-summer weather that we have been having. It finally stopped raining in New Jersey!
Newman is spending these lazy days of summer almost exclusively in the solarium. He is so happy there, among all of his buddies.
Speaking of buddies, Newman has a new BFF (best friend forever) named Buddy. Buddy is fairly new here and timid, but is coming out of his shell. He smiles all the time and gives Newman mountains of adoration (as you can see in the photo below). To know Newman is to love him – so I completely understand.
Newman has two more new suite-mates joining him in Suite FIV this month; outgoing Dre and gentle Jean Valjean.
In medical news, recent blood work showed a great improvement in Newman’s liver values! They are all in the normal range and he is doing wonderfully. We are hopeful that such “normal” results will make him seem all the more adoptable in the eyes of those who have been nervous to take him on due to his liver condition.
