Update for Mona

Hello dear sponsors,

I am hoping that you are all well and enjoying the month of December. With milder temperatures, I have been spending more time in the solarium. I love the quietness and the feeling of being outdoors.

It has been a sad month for those of us in the FIV+ Suite, as we had to say goodbye to our dear friend and mentor, Nuttin. We will all miss him, but his incredible spirit will always be felt in our room. I’ve included one of my favorite pictures of him. Wasn’t he beautiful?

With the loss of Nuttin, we will most likely be getting a new roommate in the near future, and another life will be saved, thanks to Tabby’s Place and our supporters.

I have been feeling a bit braver in recent days and sometimes sleep out in the open, on the cat tree near the window. When I am relaxed and feel safe, I enjoy having someone gently scratch my head. I have also spent some time hanging out with Hocus, who is a real gentleman, and my correspondents almost got a picture of us together. Well, maybe next month!

In medical news, I recently had a drippy eye, but fear not, no medication is needed and I am on the mend already.

Tabby’s Place is looking very festive these days. I love all the lights and tinsel. Whatever winter holidays you may be celebrating, I wish you peace, love and happiness.

See you next year!
