May has arrived, my super fantastic sponsors!

I have been spending lots of time outdoors in our solarium, watching the flowers blooming. The leaves are popping, the grass is growing, and all the creatures are looking for someone to make a nest with. ‘Tis the season to pair up and make babies, or so I’m told.

Although all of us kitties here at Tabby’s Place have been “fixed,” that doesn’t stop us from pairing up for the fun of it. I am attaching two pictures to show my love affair with Angelo, one of my suitemates.  Staff and volunteers have been calling us the “it” couple, and we love every second of it.

Angelo and I have been buddies for quite a while, and we just adore each other. He is definitely one of my most favorite friends. We snuggle and play together every chance we get! In one of my pictures, you will see us cuddling together in a cozy bed. In the other picture, you will see us playing around my correspondent’s feet during her most recent visit. Our joyous romping made her smile, and she wanted to show you a bit of what she gets to witness.

My last month has been a healthy one, and I am ever so grateful. However, I must tell you that the time has come…it is official that I, unfortunately, need to have my bottom cleaned every single day. I get so messy that mere wiping is no longer enough, I am embarrassed to say. A leaky butt is not something a girl likes to talk about, but I know you love me anyway, and you want to know how I’m doing.

Of course, I tolerate my daily “butt bath” with a smile, and I don’t let it make me cranky. I can’t lie…I don’t love it…but why make it more miserable for everyone by fussing? Why fight it when I know our staff and volunteers are simply keeping me clean and healthy because they love me? I get all kinds of love and pets while my butt is thoroughly cleaned, so how can I be upset about it?

I hope you know that I am getting the absolute best care possible, all because of you and your sponsorship. I can’t thank you enough!
