Hello my favorite people in the whole wide world!
August has been awesome for me so far, and I hope it is for you, too. Not only am I my typically happy-go-lucky self, but I’m labeled “healthy” this month! This is news to cause raucous frolicking, my friends! My herpes flare-up and urinary tract infection have both resolved, and I am giddier than a pig in, well, poop.
Speaking of poop, we have a new friend in Suite A. His name is Abe, and he is adorable, but oh my goodness does that boy dirty up the place! He sadly has quite stubborn diarrhea, which of course our super fantastic vet team is treating him for in every way possible. But in the meantime, our staff and volunteers have been keeping on top of the mess he, unfortunately, trails behind him (literally).
Ah the joys of living in Suite A, lovingly named the “incontinent suite”. As you know, I’ve had more than my share of intestinal drama, so who am I to complain? I just continue on with my joyous little life here among all my friends, kitty and human.
I hear that Tabby’s Place is celebrating “Catmas in July and August” this summer, and our kitty adoption fee is only $50 instead of the regular $135! Wowza! So, if you or anyone else you know might be considering adding a kitty to their family, now is a fantastic time! Hurry, because Catmas only lasts until August 31st.And we have our Linda Fund going on as we speak, which is our annual matching donation event. Your donation will be matched dollar for dollar! You can help the kitties here at Tabby’s Place in double fashion without even trying! Spread the word!
My correspondent and I had an extended visit recently, and I adored every minute of it. She took these two pictures of me. We ladies need to keep on top of our beauty routine, and here you’ll see me doing a bit of cleaning up my fabulously fluffy fur. Next, of course, I had to take a long moment to streeeeeetttccchhh. Oh my, that felt good! Then we chatted and snuggled and told each other “I love you” lots of times. I think it’s extremely important to tell your loved ones how you feel about them, don’t you? It makes everyone feel better to hear and to say “I love you”. We need more of that in this world these days.
So let it start with us! I love you!
Love,
Mary
