Update for Kitten Fund

Lots of kitten news this month, sponsors!

We’ve got big kittens graduating to new suites, big and little kittens finding their forever homes, and new kittens coming in!

Sushi, CornPop, Aech, and Artemis have all moved into Suite B. Sushi and Cornpop are taking their new home very well! Cornpop has become especially friendly! Aech and Artemis are a little more nervous about the new environment but do enjoy the solarium. Meanwhile Tink has moved into the Community Room and has gone on hold for adoption! Tiger was adopted as well.

Life in the Kitten Room is fast and furious these days. All three of our Golden Girls ( Blanche, Rosebud, and Dorothy) were adopted and went home in the last month. And though the Bones litter finally cleared Ringworn quarantine, they never made it to the Kitten Room before all four of them were adopted as well! After a long couple of months in quarantine I’m sure they’re thrilled to be free to play and explore their new homes.

Poppy remains in the Kitten Room, and she’s come a long way in becoming better socialized (she had a bit of a biting problem). The company of other kittens has done wonders for her temperament, and now she’s on hold to be adopted as well! Her BFF Houdini went home this past week so she’s spending the last of her Tabby’s Place days with some new friends!

New to the Kitten Room are Firefly and River, a pair of adorable but very shy feral kittens who need lots of love. And Sheldon and Amy have arrived! You’ll remember that Sheldon showed some neurological issues as a newborn, but he and Amy are both thriving now and are best friends. They join their sister Bernadette in the Kitten Room. Littermates Raj and Bernadette have been adopted. Finally, Pierce, who came to Tabby’s Place with his paw impaled on barbed wire (poor little guy!) is fully healed and ready to charm the pants off of everyone.

But wait, there’s more! Just when you thought kitten season was over, a whole new class has arrived at Tabby’s Place. Figaro and Belle have come to us all the way from Puerto Rico, as well as two new litters. There’s the condiments (Ketchup, Catsup, Sauerkraut, Hunts, and Heinz) and the fermented foods (Kimchi, Kombucha, Miso, and Kefir). No word on if their names are a result of their having arrived right before lunchtime!

And that’s all the news that’s fit to print for now! Thank you as always for your sponsorship, which allows Tabby’s Place to help all these wonderful babies have the best lives we can give them.
