Tink is one of the smallest females we’ve seen. We believe she was born in May of 2017, so she’s likely full grown or close to it, but we have six month old young’uns who are far bigger than she is (she weighs less than five pounds). Tink is a lovely dilute tortoiseshell with the cutest little pale orange nose.

Given her petite size and pretty face, you’re wondering why Tink hasn’t already been adopted. Well, she’s exceptionally shy. In fact, Tink was living at a shelter in Georgia, and she was so frightened they deemed her unadoptable. It’s usually a grim outlook for a shelter cat who earns that label, but we were happy that we had a place for this young lady. And we have socializers working with her to bring her out of her shell. While that is not always successful, we’ve experienced some near-miraculous turnarounds in cat behavior at Tabby’s Place, and we’re hoping for something similar here.

Because Tink is so timid now, anyone thinking about adopting her should be experienced with very shy cats. We believe she’d do best in a home without young children, and she MUST LIVE INDOORS ONLY. Watch this space for updates on Tink!
