Dearest kitten-loving friends,

According to the calendar, another year is drawing to a close. Unsurprisingly, Kitten Season continues right through the holiday season at Tabby’s Place!

We’ve had an ever-whirling revolving door of little loves. Our Kitten Room is currently home to Argon, Azure, Benny, Bjorn, Cadet, and Kazoo. Andrew, Didgeridoo, Diesel, Dustin, El, and Shane are cuddled up in foster homes, while Bassoon and Constantine are finishing quarantine.

Alas, recent adoptees Cheddar (now old enough for Suite B) and Scuba and Snorkel (currently in quarantine) were returned to us, as were long-ago kittens Matlock and Troy. But, once a Tabby’s Place kitten, always a Tabby’s Place kitten, and we’ll love these littles and no-longer-littles as long as they need us.

As I prepared to write this update for you, I had a quick look back over all the kitten news of 2017 – we met a lot of new babies this year, didn’t we? I confess, I lost count somewhere after several dozen, but can you even imagine all of this year’s kitten alums together? I think the universe might collapse upon itself from the several orders of magnitude of cute!

Time passes so quickly…from teenagers longing for their forever home, to newborn litters that arrived with their mamas, to the lost little ones we loved so absolutely for the short time we had them. There is so much life in the business of caring for kittens, and you have been with us every step of the way.
