Happy May, Dear Sponsors!
Welcome to my latest update.
Whew—Spring is sure a busy season. We had Passover and Easter. We had lots of visitors with the warmer weather. We had Mother’s Day, too. Here at the sanctuary, we have both hooman and kitty moms. So we did celebrate. And I hope you celebrated if you are a mom for fur babies or hooman kids. Plus, we had a major event right here, which was a combination open house and a chance to learn for those interested in becoming volunteers.
I, of course, had to be on my best behavior and welcome all the folks. It was a fun day for both hoomans and kitties. But boy, was I tired out after all the festivities!
And just when I thought I could rest, I began to hear rumors of our annual Kitten Shower coming up later in May. All those little munchkins on display and up for adoption? I hope the staff doesn’t expect me to keep watch over those little ones. That sounds completely exhausting!
I am just relaxing each day and still supervising the volunteers and staff. And I always look for volunteer Kevin, so I can sit in his lap and get lots of pets. But pretty much any available lap is fair game!
There have been a few changes among our Lobby residents. Murdock moved into a suite where he can receive a prescription diet, and Smoothie moved in. An energetic tripod youngster named Tootsie has just joined us. She will keep us on our toes, for sure, with her playful streak.
I have been in good health and spirits this month. I am happiest hanging out with Prescott, my true Lobby love. But I would love to hang out with you, too, dear sponsors. I am so grateful for all you do for me and for all the kitties here at Tabby’s Place. I know I am going to be taken care of each and every day, thanks to you.

Please stop by for a visit if you can, and I promise to curl up in your lap and let you give me lots of pets and love.
Have a wonderful rest of May, and I will send more news in June.
Hugs and kitty kisses,
Hips
