Hips Happenings #28
Happy Spring, Dear Sponsors and Fellow Tabby’s Place Fans!
It’s time for warm weather and lots of news.
First, let me tell you how sad I am that two of my Lobby Ladies, Grecca and Boobalah, went to Rainbow Bridge recently. I hear it is a place of happiness and joy, with no pain, sorrow, or suffering. I know I will see them again one day when I cross over.
But, as with you hoomans, life goes on, and I have good news to share.
Tabby’s Place is having a Volunteer Open House on Saturday, April 26th, from noon to 4 p.m. Come and meet all of the staff, volunteers, and kitties and learn how you, too, can become a volunteer. I can assure you that you will have a good time. I, of course, will be greeting you and giving you my official Lobby meow. And there will be lots of refreshments and tours! And, best of all (besides visiting with me, of course), you can meet my lady friend, Prescott. She is the love of my life, and we are truly just like an old married couple.
I have been in particularly good health this month. And, as usual, I have been up to my mischievous antics. I love to sneak into the back hallway when the staff and volunteers aren’t looking. You all know that if you close a door, a cat will always try to open it. I just wait for someone to come through who is pushing a cart or carrying a lot of blankets and beds. Then I do my run-through, and I love to sit in the middle of the hallway and look at everything. One day, the staff found me (like magic!) sitting in the hallway outside of the quarantine rooms.

When I am not being sneaky, I love to curl up on some soft and warm blankies or a nice fluffy bed and either take a long kitty nap or watch all the action in the Lobby.
So, please come to see me and visit with all the other kitties and staff. And enjoy your spring holidays if you celebrate Passover or Easter. We celebrate every day here at Tabby’s Place because of your wonderful, generous heart!
Love and kitty meows and kisses,
Hips
