Update for Hips

Holidays can be stressful & exhausting! Long naps are in order.
Feast of the Seven Fishes!

Hips’ Happenings #25

Welcome to the New Year, Dear Sponsors and Tabby’s Place fans!

I hope you are all as safe and warm as we are here in the sanctuary.

So, it was a very busy holiday season.  In keeping with tradition, we 7 cats found a great place in the hallway to have our Feast of the Seven Fishes Christmas Eve supper, thanks to the wonderful staff and volunteers.  We gobbled up our wet food and then all went to our separate corners to await the arrival of Santa Paws.  And he did not disappoint as we got new toys and good food from all of you dear sponsors.

It was a very tiring time for me since I had to monitor the Lobby as well as take care of my special ladies. Grecca sounded a bit hoarse…So I had to keep an eye on her to be sure she was okay.  And my girlfriend, Prescott, had a UTI (urinary tract infection), which luckily cleared up with meds, and she is just fine now.  However, since it was stressful for me, I just decided to take a long winter’s nap and recuperate…

Now I am just fine after a brief bout of coughing.  The staff was on it and made sure I was okay.  I do not like to be restrained for x-rays and I gave them a hard time while they were making sure I didn’t have something serious.  But as you can see, I am on patrol overlooking the Lobby and making sure all is well.  And just recently we had an issue with our phones.  But I helped out with that, too… I am very talented in so many ways!

Holidays can be fun!

I want to thank all of you, dear sponsors, for all you do for us here at the sanctuary.  Your donations provide food and medical care for us. And since those cats you sponsor have advanced care needs, like me, we have to have some extra care now and then.  So on behalf of me and my special lady kitties, I thank you and am so grateful for your caring and concern.  I hope everyone has a happy and healthy 2025.  And I hope to see you here at the sanctuary so I can give you lots of hugs and kitty kisses and thank you in person for all you do for me.

Love,
Hips
