Update for Faye

The Perfect Package

Happy Holidays, Friends of Faye!

‘Twas two weeks before Christmas, when throughout Tabby’s Place,
All the kitties were stirring all over the place.
While her suitemates were snuggled and warm in their beds,
Faye was reading her copy of Vogue instead.

When high on the cubbies, there arose such a clatter
Faye glanced up (with side-eye) to see what was the matter.
She spied a “struggle” as there often may be
When suitemates compete to be BMOC.

Some kitties throw shade, some kitties get snarky,
But Faye is too chill for that kind of malarkey.
This princess is calm, staying out of the fray,
High up on the ramps, safely out of the way.

It’s not that our Faye is strictly contrarian,

No Greater Gift Than Faye

She’d just rather chase sunbeams out in the solarium.
At times Faye’s more social; at times she’s quite witty,
But all of the time, she’s one gorgeous kitty.

As resident princess, it’s her royal duty
To wow all our visitors with her striking beauty.
She winds ’round their legs, she makes pirouettes,
She loves to be snuggled, adores humans’ pets.

I’ve wondered quite often how this gorgeous kitty
Has not been adopted. It seems such a pity.
We know that she’s had a complicated history
And that could explain some part of the mystery

Happy Holidays from Faye

In spite of this, though, I still want to believe
That Santa has a Christmas miracle up his sleeve.
My wish for Faye this holiday season
Is a family who’ll treasure her beyond reason

Until they arrive (and I’m certain they’ll show),
Faye has you as her family, and she loves you so.
And so, all was merry. And so, all was bright.
Happy Christmas, dear sponsors, and to all a good night!

Faye sends you all her love and thanks you for the wonderful gift of your friendship and sponsorship. She loves you from the innermost place in her beautiful heart and wishes you a happy holiday season, now and always.

Beth

P.S. Friends, Faye is doing well this month but has been dealing with a few annoying issues, like a case of chronic weepy eyes. They clear up one day, only to return a few days later. She had one incident of a bloody nose as well. Her antibiotic course for a previous upper respiratory infection was completed, but she will remain on some antiviral medication to help keep the goop out of her eyes!
