Update for Faye

Hello, friends of Faye!

Welcome to the summer months, June bugs! True to form, June is notoriously a big event month: proms, graduations, weddings, pool parties, barbecues. And at Tabby’s Place, we’ve planned some very special events as well.

The beginning of the month witnessed a very special occasion at Tabby’s Place. Our staff and volunteers gathered, as we do yearly, in Cherny’s Garden for a Memorial Service to honor all of the precious cats who went to the Rainbow Bridge during the year. We gather to celebrate their lives and mourn their passings. Our cats are our family, we love them, and they all will be missed.

And now, we’re getting reading to host our 4th Annual Kitten Shower and Adoption Event on Saturday, June 24th from 12-4pm. We’ve got some teeny, tiny, totally adorable residents who are looking for their forever homes. We’ve got kittens, we’ve got tours, and we’ve got refreshments! Come one, come all.

Our glamour girl, the lovely Princess Faye, has had a busy month so far as well. She had a spa day, which included a thorough veterinary examination, complete with vaccines and annual blood work, followed by her semiannual haircut (see last month’s update to see her new ‘do, including an adorable shaved heart in her fur). Other than that, Faye has been enjoying long, sunny snoozes in her favorite solarium spot with her friends.

Faye thanks you for your love and generous support! She’s so happy to have made new friends and hopes that someday soon you will come visit her at Tabby’s Place. In the meantime, she wishes you a month filled with lazy days, warm nights, and happy memories. We’ll talk again soon, friends.
