Update for Faye

Happy May, friends of Faye!

For those of you who are already among Faye’s “virtual” besties, hello again! And for those of you new to the wonderful world of Faye, welcome!

Faye’s social media presence is thriving this month. In fact, someone spotted her picture on our Tabby’s Place Facebook page and was so smitten that she immediately wrote to ask about helping her. The admirer explained that she was at her personal feline limit at home, or else she would find it hard to resist adopting our glamour girl. She made the generous decision to lavish Faye with some donation love. Thank you!

We’ve been busy bees this month at Tabby’s Place, renovating some of our smaller adoption rooms into office space for our wonderful staff, as well as (you guessed it!) more kitties! On occasion, we need to reorganize our space. You see, not all of our kitties enjoy the company of other cats, so sometimes we need to shuffle things around to make sure that each and every cat feels comfortable and safe in his or her own special space.

Beautiful Princess Faye, however, was not moved. She remains happy and healthy with her friends in Suite B. Now that the weather is so gorgeous, Faye spends most of her days in her suite’s adjacent solarium, basking in the sunshine.

Faye loves being in this open-air space pretty much year ’round. Her beautiful, lush fur, which helped to keep her warm during the chillier months, might start to get a little too fuzzy once the weather gets hotter. To help keep her comfortable, Faye was treated to a salon-quality haircut this month, as you can see. This style is known, adorably, as a “lion cut,” because she still has a large tuft of fur on her tail and around her face and neck. if you look closely, you might also notice that Faye is also sporting a beautiful little fur heart on one shoulder.

Faye has had a sweet, happy month, and she is enjoying wonderful health. She’s so happy to be making new friends, and she is thrilled that of all the kitties at Tabby’s Place, you have chosen her to be your friend. She loves you so, so much. Truly.

We’ll talk soon, friends.
