Happy New Year, friends of Faye!

Okay, raise your mitten if you’re already tired of this winter! Faye and I are raising ours in solidarity with you.

So, 2018 came and brought Jack Frost along with her. There was one day last week when the wind chill was in negative numbers all day. ALL. DAY. If you happen to be a snow princess like Faye, this is a real bummer, as we have had to shut off the kitties’ access to the solaria until things start to warm up a bit. And lack of open air access isn’t the only thing that’s frosting Faye’s tail this month, as she has also seen her share of comings and goings in her suite. Faye’s bestie, Carrot, has recently moved into our Weight Management Suite, and new faces like Stella and Pancake have arrived. Faye isn’t really a fan of change, so she’s been taking some time to process everything by spending time up on the ramps of her suite where there is ample space for quiet reflection.

Apart from her situational ire, Faye has enjoyed good health this month, with no medical news to report. But that doesn’t mean there’s no news at all. Drumroll please. . . Faye’s birthday is this month! Our beautiful girl is 12 years old!
