Just a quick note to keep you up to the minute on Corey’s status …

The opthalmologist confirmed that Corey has glaucoma (buildup of pressure) in his right eye and that the eye has to be removed.
We have scheduled Corey’s surgery for this Friday (10/1).

As you know, Corey is somewhat frail & we are concerned about the inherent risks of surgery.
But, there is really no alternative and we have an excellent vet performing the surgery.

Please keep dear Corey in your thoughts and prayers.
I will send you an update as soon as he is out of surgery.
