Another month has passed in Cisco’s world. He’s healthy, he’s happy…and he still doesn’t like us very much. At least, if he does, Cisco has a funny way of showing it. Our handsome boy continues shrinking back from most human affection, but we’ll keep gently working on him.

In fact, during a recent visit, he somewhat reluctantly accepted my offer of treats, which I had placed on the platform just inches away from him. Prior attempts left me feeling ever so slightly emotionally wounded, as he gave me a ‘tap’ of his paw when I crossed his invisible boundary line. So, the fact that he let me do this is a huge step forward.

Wolfie, who is an enormous presence in suite FIV in so many ways, enjoys his play time. He was having a perfectly good snooze when the opportunity to play presented itself, and he stirred in no time to join in. All was going superbly, and then Chachi (inside the cat cozy) could not resist getting in on the action. It was a fun time for all!

Cisco has struck up a sweet friendship with fellow cat-loving, human-shirking neighbor Shea. The two are often spotted shoulder-to-shoulder atop a ramp, enjoying the sunshine (and presumably conversation about our species’ foibles). During this particular photo opportunity, Shea was there but just out of camera range. He was laying in the solarium tube trying to decide if he wanted to be inside or outside. Tough decisions on such a beautiful day.
