Update for Cheba

Update for Cheba

Hello again, Cheba sponsors!

As the season of spring approaches, Cheba continues to do quite well at Tabby’s Place.
A routine check-up found that Cheba has no new tumor growth. This is wonderful news. And, since Cheba hasn’t been as much of a bully towards her suitemates lately, the vet decided to lower the dosage of Cheba’s anti-agression medicatin. She will be carefully monitored on the lower dosage to see how it works. I’ll keep you updated.

Each time I saw Cheba this past month, she was quite different. The first time I visited, she was extremely lovable, affectionate, and sweet. She was out and about, playing, running, and enjoying the attention I was giving her. We had a wonderful time!

However, on my next visit, she was much more subdued. I think I got her right in the middle of a cat nap! She was in the back of a cubby, sleeping on a very comfy blanket.

I gently petted her. She kind of looked at me like, “Hey, I was in the middle of a great dream, and you woke me up!” But, I think she got over it, and as I continued to pet her, she began to purr.

This month’s photos of Cheba capture both moods perfectly, even though in actuality they were only taken minutes apart. I guess boxing with the feather toy wore her out!

I was told that one of Cheba’s sponsors came to visit her recently – thank you, Diann! I’m sure she loved the attention. I hope all of Cheba’s sponsors will one day get the opportunity to meet this wonderful, lovable, special kitty.

As always, thank you so much for your support of Cheba! Your support greatly aids Tabby’s Place in giving her the best possible medical care.

Until next month…
