Update for Carrot

Update for Carrot

Greetings, Carrot Fans!

Carrot has been in good health and spirits this month! He loves his solarium time and has even made friends with suite-mate Alex. He seems to be the only resident of the suite who has befriended him. I’ve heard staff tell tales of eating lunch out in the garden, and seeing Carrot and Alex playing in the solarium together. They were chasing each other around and having fun. Carrot even chased Alex up the ramp to the tunnel! Another staff member told me that she witnessed the two of them grooming each other. I love that Carrot has a new friend! On all our visits, Carrot climbs into my lap for a cuddle while Alex plays with my feet. He’s a weird cat!

We had our Tabby’s Place Volunteer Picnic this past weekend. Normally, we meet in a local park, however, due to rain it was held inside the sanctuary. Some of the cats were thrilled to have to us humans there for the night, petting them, playing with them, and giving them hours of extra attention. Carrot was not one of those cats! Our boy is used to having his quiet time at night and he was definitely a little grumpy!  I can’t blame him one bit!

On a fun note…I’d like to formally invite you to the Grand Opening of Quinn’s Corner on Saturday 10/7! From 12-4 p.m., we’ll be celebrating Tabby’s Place’s expansion for FeLV+ cats, and we’d sure love to have you with us. We’ll have tours, speeches, activities for all ages, and of course visits with our sensational cats, especially Carrot! We’ll be emailing you further details soon, but please mark your calendars for this fabulous moment in feline history.

As always, thank you for sponsoring our sweet Carrot!
