Update for Beatrice

Hi! I’m Lori McGrail and I am Bea’s new correspondent. I’m a new volunteer at Tabby’s Place and am so excited to be Bea’s special needs correspondent. Special needs cats are near and dear to my heart as I have a diabetic cat at home – a large tabby very much like Bea’s suitemate, Amstel.

Bea’s health continues to be stable with no new news to report. She does have a new suitemate, Malcolm, a beautiful pure white diabetic cat, but I haven’t seen them interact. I’ve included a couple of new photos of Bea – I hope you enjoy them.

I’ve been spending the last few weeks getting to know Bea. From reading her previous updates she has come a long way during her time at Tabby’s Place. During my first visit, she came right up to me wanting to be petted and of course played with. She loves to play with her yarn toy with several snack breaks in between. I caught her napping on my last visit but she perked right up with the first wiggle of toys. I’m looking forward to spending more time with her and giving her lots of love and playtime.

Thanks you so much for your ongoing support of our cute and chubby Bea!
