Update for Bagheera

Update for Bagheera

Hello to all!

Thanks for all your finger crossing. Bagheera’s urine culture was clear, and he continues to be free of a urinary tract infection!

We continue going out for our daily walks, although Bags has recently gotten a little lazy (or maybe just smarter.) He goes out the side door, and unless he goes around the back to wander, he comes right back in the front door, goes directly to his basket and demands that I put him in it. I try to persuade him to explore more, but we all know how very stubborn he is.

The other day he had a bit of an awakening. Tumbles, a 5-month-old kitten with cerebellar hypoplasia, was moved into in the lobby. Tumbles decided to visit Bagheera in his basket. He tried to sneak up on him (picture left), but he was caught. The two of them had a little encounter at first (picture below), then finally settled down.

Over the next several days Tumbles tormented Bagheera by sticking his paws through Bagheera’s crate, trying to get him to play. Although Bags was very annoyed by Tumbles, he just buried himself under his covers and let Tumbles continue his antics.

Bagheera has it a little easier now that Tumbles has been adopted.

Oops!!! What did I say’ Here comes Serena . . .
