Bagheera has been doing well on all his meds. He is free at this time from his constant UTIs, so let’s all cross our fingers that he stays clear. He had a routine dental and the vet extracted a tooth (a canine — what’s wrong with that name’). Bags came through it just fine.
We continue our daily walks. Bags goes out the side door, sniffs the catnip bush, then decides which way he wants to go. He should enjoy the cooler weather coming.
We held our annual Volunteer Appreciation BBQ in the backyard of the sanctuary, and everyone was asking where Bagheera was (being the socialite that he is).
Well, he turned the corner to where everyone was gathered, stopped briefly to sniff the air, then hightailed it up the memorial garden walkway and over to the tent to visit with everyone. Shhhhhh — he even had a couple of tasty treats.
As you can see in the photo, he had a great time. This is what makes our little boy the extra special cat he is.
Bags and I hope you all had a great summer. I know we did! ♥
