Dear Friends,

There’s a ringworm outbreak at Tabby’s Place and, apparently, we’re not alone. I’ve overheard staff saying that many shelters and rescues across the country are also experiencing outbreaks. I don’t like anything with the word “worm” in it, so I was relieved to learn it’s a fungal infection and not an actual worm. I was also relieved to learn I do not have it, and I’d like to keep it that way!

Olive is not so lucky. I hear she’s behaving better than expected for her treatment, which includes getting dipped in lime sulfur. I’d have to see that to believe it.

I’ve seen first-hand how hard the loving Tabby’s Place staff is working to stop the spread and treat infected kitties. We are so lucky to have them, and I send them good thoughts and kitty kisses every day to show my appreciation.

I’ve been enjoying the fall so much. For Halloween, I was a handsome devil. It suits me, don’t you think? I also love all the pumpkins and gourds. I hear pumpkin spice is all the craze during the fall season, so I tried to eat a pumpkin. Apparently, it’s not the same thing.

I’m sending good thoughts and kitty kisses to you, too. You’re a great friend and supporter, and my heart swells with love for everything you do for me.
