Update for Anka

Dear Friends,

I can’t decide if my favorite season is spring or fall. Given the spectacular weather we’ve been having, I’d say it’s a tie right now. I’ve been spending lots of time outside enjoying the sunshine and crisp, autumn breezes. Oh, and the leaves falling off the trees—it’s like the sky is raining toys down all around me that I can chase as they spin toward the earth.

My health is good, and everyone seems to be in good spirits, except for Olive. That chronic cranky-pants has been difficult about consistently taking her pills, so the lovely Tabby’s Place staff has had to switch up her medication routine. She’s now on something called lactulose, which is a sticky liquid that she needs to take orally to help soften her stool. This gave her excessive gas for a few days. It’s always a bit alarming for staff when cats expel a whole lot of gas during expression (especially if anyone else is present and may mistake the origin of the sound). 😊 This was a great source of amusement and giggles for us lobby kitties.

My heart continues to be very full, especially when I hear the Tabby’s Place staff talking about the generosity of all our supporters, like you. I hear that the Linda Fund Matching Challenge has been extended through October 31 and may be our largest Linda Fund Match ever!

You have been a constant source of support for me, and for that, I’m very grateful. I hope the weather is nice near you and that you’re finding lots of joy and things to giggle about.

Lots of love,
Anka
