Update for Anka

Dear Friends,

This is what bliss looks like

The weather this past month has been amazing, which means many of us kitties get to spend time outdoors in our strollers. As you can see from my photo, this puts me in a state of pure bliss. There’s nothing better than a nice breeze, birds chirping, time with cherished staffers and volunteers, and the smell of sunshine on my fur.

“A” is for Anka and, also, Adorable

When I’m indoors, I amuse myself by playing with my toys and waiting for other furry lobby residents to get too close to my luxury accommodations so I can attack. Valerie likes to get a little close, but not close enough for me to grab her. Stanley may be odd, but he’s smart. He has carefully calculated the required safety distance needed to protect himself while agitating me.

On one of the days when a volunteer was about to take me outside, Stanley hitched a ride on top of my stroller.  He caught me on a mellow day as I did not seem to mind. See the great video:

Cotton has expanded his domain with frequent trips to the Community room. During one of his trips to the Community room, he watched videos of birds on an iPad and came back to the lobby and described the adventure to the rest of us. One of our kind staff members has been providing video stimulation to the Tabby’s Place kitties. 😊

I hope the weather is beautiful where you are, and I hope you can feel all the love and happy sunshine I’m sending your way.

XOXO,
Anka
