With his baby blue eyes and mountain of white fluff, Cotton is a real charmer. Whenever you call his name, he looks to you for cuddles. He loves to be picked up and held in a lap and is a real sweetie. Since he’s still a kitten, he’s also still full of boundless energy. He enjoys chasing wand toys and batting at mice, although he’s still learning that hands aren’t toys. Cotton doesn’t mean to cause any harm, he simply needs some time to learn how to be on his best behavior.
Cotton’s life didn’t used to always to be so comfy. He was found on the streets of Lebanon (the country, not the town). His rescuers took great care of him during his early kittenhood until he tragically fell off a balcony. He was brought to a rescue in Beirut, where the staff there realized that he needed more care than they could provide. Luckily, they were able to arrange for a lovely volunteer to fly with our Cotton all the way to the United States. We are happy that Cotton could come and be with us!
As a result of his fall, Cotton had to have his back feet amputated and he is incontinent. He requires help emptying his bladder and bowels and has to be expressed three times a day. He still has and can use his back legs, although sometimes he prefers to scoot around using just his front legs. Nonetheless, he is very active and mobile and would love to live in a home with other active cats.
Due to his medical needs, Cotton will require a special adopter who is prepared to handle his daily needs. Could you be the one to give Cotton a wonderful, loving home? Consider adopting our Cotton!
