Dear Friends,
I hope your September is off to a great start! I’ve got some updates I’m excited to share with you this month.
Last month, I earned the title of Cranky Pants. While my spirits lifted a little, I’m still technically a Cranky Pants, particularly in these last couple of weeks. The kind Tabby’s Place staff is keeping a close eye on me to rule out any medical reasons for my funky mood.
A title I much prefer is “Unofficial Mayor of Quinn’s Corner,” which a kind soul bestowed upon me recently. In addition to outside strolling when the weather is nice, I get my own personal time to explore the halls of Quinn’s Corner for exercise and enrichment. Here are pictures of me exploring the space and the furry ‘constituents’ of my hallway town.

My dear friend/nemesis that brushes me regularly took a break from brushing me the last couple of weeks of August. While I was relieved for the break, my locks lacked their usual luster. So, when she recently picked up where she left off, there was a lot of brushing to do!
As usual, she spoke sweet talk to her Ankabonka (her nickname for me … I like it!). There were lots of bribes (i.e., treats), which, as I’m sure you know by now, are a great distraction for me. In the end, there were a few nom-growls and even fewer hisses—a record low! With a record high pile of fur—the growing Ankabonka pile. And my locks are luscious once again. 😊
The weather has been splendid for the last month, so I’ve been enjoying many stroller rides with my human friends. I hope you are enjoying the last days of summer as well, even though it sure feels more like autumn these days!

I’m so grateful for all your love and support—it’s what helps me get through my Cranky Pants days, and certainly brightens all my days!
Lots of love,
Anka’bonka’
