Hello, my sweet sponsors.

I’m sending you lots of sunshine and kisses on this lazy August day.
While many of my feline friends spend their summer days basking in the sunshine, I’ve kept a busy schedule, which includes:

Cruising like the prince that I am: My front legs are strong, but why scoot across the floor when I can be pushed like royalty?
By now, you know that my favorite part of the day is going for outdoor stroller rides. I let the summer wind blow through my whiskers while I judge the birds from my VIP seat.
Setting fashion trends: In June, I wore my Pride bandana with joy. This month, I wore a handsome pattern with a couple of strategically placed buttons.
Next month, I’m hoping to convince my friends to find a bandana with hearts on it as a show of my love and appreciation for all my human friends (especially you).
Making new friends: I’m tickled to have a new (human) officemate in the Volunteer department. That makes THREE amazing friends who share my space with me. And it guarantees that I have at least one friend to tend to me every day of the week.
Playing hide-and-seek: I love to hide under a large blanket, then pop out in surprise when my friends come looking for me. Watch the video below to admire how I play this game.
Warring with brushes: I don’t understand why a particular human “friend” insists on brushing me. Recently, I reverted to little growls. (Between you and me, I don’t really mind brushing all that much, but I find the more I pretend to hate it, the more treats I get. See photographic evidence of empty Delectables … they were delicious!)
Combining my favorite activities: I recently learned that if I feign hunger while my people are prepping me for my stroller ride, I can get a snack while I ride. This is my version of Meals on Wheels.

The amazing staff at Tabby’s Place hold regular rounds of “Weights & Nails” – this is where they weigh us to catch any weight changes early and trim our nails to keep us and others safe. They’ve noted that I lost some weight over the last couple of months.
I’m on a restricted diet because of my tummy issues, so that could explain the weight loss. Of course, they must have weighed me before my friend gave me all those yummy treats while she brushed me!

One of my beautiful sponsors recently sent me my very own blanket with lots of hearts and my name on it. I’ve never had my very own blanket before. And blue is my favorite color! I love it so much, and I’ll remember this kind, loving gesture for the rest of my life. Thank you, dear sponsor!
As you make the most of these remaining summer days, please remember that you hold a special place in my heart. Having you as my dear friend has made my life infinitely better.
XOXO,
Anka
