Hips’ Happenings #23
Happy November, Dear Sponsors. As usual, I have a lot to share. So relax with a nice cup of coffee, tea, or hot cocoa and enjoy.

I am a true celebrity. I was named Cat of the Month in a local newspaper (see picture #2 in the story). Now I am on par with my love, Miss Prescott, who has been in the news a few times…I might be willing to give you a “paw”graph if you are at Tabby’s Place any time soon.
But, I have some really great news. Remember how I keep saying that I rule the front of the lobby, while dear Grecca rules the back? Well, guess what … yep, you guessed it. Grecca and I made friends.
You can see us sleeping next to each other in the photo—and she didn’t hiss or try to swat me. It was so beautiful. But then, I got greedy. Not only did I take over her bed, but I also ate all of her wet food. And, gee, did she let the whole sanctuary know! She yowled until she got a new dish of food. So I promised her I would TRY to be a good boy and leave her bed and her food alone.
I have taken to shopping. I always wondered what that was like, because a lot of the volunteers and staff talk about shopping. So I decided to explore and see what kind of goodies I could find. It was a lot of fun and I kind of liked crinkling the bags and looking for treatos. Alas, I came up empty-handed.

But, if you come to our Thanksgiving with the Cats open house on November 23rd from noon to 4 p.m., you will find human treats and lots of kitties to visit. You can even take a self-guided tour and meet two new lobby kitties, Murdock and Rori. Prescott and I will be on hand to meet and greet you. And if you promise to give us pets and spend time with us, we will gladly sit in your lap and let you give us lots of love.

All the kitties here at the sanctuary wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving. The holiday season is upon us, and we love visitors, toys, and treats. If you can’t come for Thanksgiving with the Cats, come to see us any other time as our paws are always open for you!
At this special time of year, I am thankful for you and how you help me have this enriching life at Tabby’s Place.
Love and kitty kisses,
Hips
