Update for Carrot

Dear Carrot friends,

I’ve never seen Carrot inside the suite so often, as I have in the last month. He’s actually been inside most of the time, and only going outside to his solarium for very brief times. It must be cold for Carrot to stay inside.

I think being stuck inside has been making Carrot a little cranky. He has been picking on some of the cats in his suite, and Carrot is the one starting the fights! I think it’s much better for him when he can stay out in his solarium, and have his own space. Carrot does not pick on his friends, Sparkly, Stella and Pancake. He seems to always like those cats, and doesn’t lose his patience with them.

Carrot did not go to Aged to Purrfection this month. He has to take turns with some of the other cats who enjoy visiting the seniors, like Rose, Anka and Jonathan. Maybe this is another reason Carrot has been a little cranky; he really enjoys getting out and visiting his friends at the senior home.

We are looking to expand the Aged to Purrfection program very soon, so Carrot and friends can travel more often, and make even more seniors smile. We are meeting with two additional senior facilities in the next few weeks, and if all goes well we can add them to our program, and begin visiting with cats.

It has been another healthy month for Carrot. Earlier this month one of Carrot’s many admirers was concerned that he seemed dehydrated and not interested in his food. Our vet team checked him out, and luckily nothing seems amiss with our boy. Not sure what was happening that day, but Carrot is certainly enjoying his food and seems very healthy.

Carrot continues running to greet the staff when it’s time to express his bladder. He is such a sweet boy, and always so happy to see us.
Carrot is a little early for Valentine’s day, but I couldn’t resist sharing such a cute picture with you.

That’s all the Carrot news for now. Thank you all for your continued support of Carrot. We couldn’t do this without you.
