Update for Mona

My dear sponsors,

Happy New Year! This is my first report of 2016, and I will give you all the news from the FIV+ suite.

This month Tabby’s Place has opened its heart to three new FIV+ cats: Bunk, Socks, and Mr. Grey Fluffy Pants. If you ever needed a reason to visit (besides seeing the adorable and irrepressible moi), these guys are great, and so far they seem to be doing well. I will report more on their progress as the months go by.

I have been spending a lot of time with Buddy, and we support each other. I have been very worried about my dear friend Hocus. He was limping last weekend, and we are all concerned that he might have thrown a blood clot. He was put on heart medication, and seems to be doing a bit better.

In other serious medical news, both of our beautiful black cats, Bo and Pyewacket, have been diagnosed with cancer. They have been put on medication, and we are hoping that it will help. Please keep them in your thoughts.

My health continues to be very good. While some of the cats have been venturing out to the solarium, I have been staying mostly indoors, relaxing in my cozy cubby hole, and enjoying my visitors.

Do you think that we are going to have a very cold winter? Only time will tell, but I am so lucky to be indoors, safe, warm, well-fed, and loved. It is only thanks to you that I am so blessed.

I will leave you with a haiku:

Take good care of yourselves.

All my love,

Mona
