Update for Mona

My dear sponsors,

It is quiet and peaceful in the FIV+ suite this month, now that the weather has become warm. We all have the space we need to breathe and be ourselves. Earlier this month, when my correspondents visited, I surprised them by sitting out in the open (rather than hiding in my cubicle), and then letting them pet me for a long time. I felt safe and enjoyed the soft touch of their hands.

I spend my time both indoors and in the solarium. Hocus is feeling great, and we still spend a good deal of time together.

We are all rather worried about our friend and suitemate Wolfie. He has been diagnosed with fatty liver disease, also known as hepatic lipidosis. This disease makes it difficult for him to eat, so, for now, he has a feeding tube to make sure he gets all the nutrition that he needs. Please keep him in your thoughts!

Healthwise, I am doing well. I enjoy my life so much, and appreciate all that you do to make it possible. I hope that you enjoy this beautiful spring weather!
