Update for Mona

A very happy new year to you, my dear sponsors.

I hope that you are well and have had a pleasant winter holiday season. The holiday season was fun for us, with many human visitors.

I have just turned 6 years old, while my friend Hocus Pocus is beginning his 15th year. Despite the age difference, Hocus and I have many common interests. We both like to eat, and also to sleep. Since the weather became chilly, we have spent much more time indoors. Nothing is better than relaxing in the cubby with Hocus. We have both also been a bit more social lately, allowing some petting and cat kisses. Could this be the year that Hocus and I find our forever homes? We are both feeling very healthy and optimistic.

It has been an exciting time in the FIV+ suite. Our friend Lester, who was having some difficulties with a few of the cats in the suite, is now peacefully coexisting with us all. (And his diarrhea has cleared up, too!)

I mentioned last month that Pyewacket and Sonny had joined our suite. But guess what? A third cat has become part of our group! His name is Mitt, and he is a beautiful (aren’t we all?), gentle tuxedo with a lovely round face. He is shy, but has already made friends with Sonny. I’ll bet that he will also enjoy the company of sweet Wolfie and Buddy.

And now to share a little secret. We are expecting another cat to join the suite very soon. I promise to keep you up to date on all the happenings at Tabby’s Place. I do hope that you will stop in for a visit. Our suite is warm and cozy.

Without your help, I would be homeless during this very cold winter. Thank you so much for caring about me and sponsoring me at Tabby’s Place. I get to meet interesting people and cats and have a wonderful life…thanks to you!

Remember, every day there is a little more light.

Until next month, take care and be well.
