I am happy to share that Max has been blessed with another month of good health. His weight continues to fluctuate slightly, but we’ve learned that this is normal for Max, and our vet team is not concerned.
Max continues to enjoy ruling the roost and sharing special cuddling time with Sammy. As a regular visitor to this suite, I have watched their bond grow. Max’s self-confidence has rubbed off on Sammy, too. Once shy and very afraid of people, Sammy now understands that the staff and volunteers at Tabby’s Place adore her.
Prior to coming to Tabby’s Place, Sammy didn’t get along well with other cats. Today, to see her wrapped around Max in siesta is testimony to how far she has progressed. I think Max has done a wonderful job helping Sammy to overcome her obstacles. His love and support has made her adjustment to Tabby’s Place a smooth and happy one.
I met handsome Reginald just the other day. He is a young, yellow fellow. Right now, Reginald is very shy, spending most of his time hiding under an armchair. The chair is covered with a big blanket that hangs down over its sides, with a big fluffy bed underneath. Here, Reginald will wait until he feels it is safe to explore his new home. Max, our staff, and volunteers will all do our best to make him feel welcome.
Thank you, dearest sponsors, for your generosity to Max each month. You help Max to maintain his good health and confidence — and to guide another new feline through the many blessings of Tabby’s Place.
